Course Load for Æ»¹ûÒùÔº Students, Visiting Students from Universities outside Quebec, Special Students

The maximum number of credits you may take in the Summer session as a Æ»¹ûÒùÔº, Visiting, or Special Student is 12 credits. The schedule of lectures in Summer courses is very intensive; therefore, you may not register for more than one course in any one Summer term without special permission, regardless of credit weight. You may take a maximum of two courses in Arts, Education, Engineering, Management, or Science, in any one Summer term. The exception to this rule is the group of Italian courses taken in Florence, Italy. Please contact Professor E. Quaroni or Professor V. Fonsato of the Italian Studies Department for more information.

To register for more than one course (or more than two courses in Arts, Education, Engineering, Management, and Science), Æ»¹ûÒùÔº students must obtain written permission from their faculty, Visiting Students from both their home university and the faculty in which they are registered, and Special Students from the faculty in which they are registered. Please note that two courses in one term is considered a very heavy work load.
