Patricia Wade joined 苹果淫院鈥檚 Faculty of Medicine in October 2018 as Director of the Accreditation and Education Quality Improvement (AEQI) office. In this role, she聽works in close collaboration with the Vice鈥怐ean, Education and with Associate Deans, Chairs and Directors of all educational units to determine the general direction of all the faculty's聽quality assurance and quality improvement activities and processes, including accreditation and education enhancement activities.
Throughout her聽Nursing career, Patricia has聽worked as a Perioperative Nursing Educator at the Montreal Children鈥檚 Hospital, a Perioperative Staff Nurse at the Montreal Neurological Hospital and at the Stollery Children鈥檚 Hospital in Edmonton.
In 2014 she received her Master of Nursing with a focus on teaching from Athabasca University in Athabasca, Alberta. She has been the recipient of numerous awards, including being twice winner of the Operating Room Nurses of Canada鈥檚 Drake-Thompson Writer鈥檚 Award and twice winner of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada鈥檚 Accredited CPD Provider Innovation Award.
