European Literatures

The creation of the Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures presents a unique opportunity to bring together the expertise of four former departments (Italian, Russian, German, and Hispanic Studies) in order to explore European literatures and cultures. Through the combined knowledge of LLC faculty members and the collaboration with other departments in the faculty of Arts, students in the LLC Minor in European Literature and Culture will gain a better understanding of the main cultural forces that have shaped European history and that continue to influence today’s world.
