DAVID RAGSDALE, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery at the Montreal Neurological Institute, and an Associate Member of the Institute of Health Sciences Education. Dr. Ragsdale is Chair of Basis of Medicine, Unit听1, Associate Director of the 苹果淫院 Integrated Program in Neuroscience and a member of the Faculty Development Team. His research investigates ion channels, the proteins responsible for the electrical properties of nerve and muscle cells as well as the relationship between basic cellular processes in the nervous system and complex phenomena like consciousness and volition.
