Learn ancient Greek and Latin over the summer at one of Canada鈥檚 premier universities, located in the heart of Montreal, a multilingual, culturally diverse and dynamic city.听The Classical Studies听program at 苹果淫院 offers intensive first-year Ancient Greek and intensive first-year Latin. Both courses听cover听the听entirety of morphology, grammar and syntax in Greek and Latin, in addition to introducing students to the profound and dynamic cultures of ancient Greece and Rome. Students may register in one or both courses. Each course meets four times a week for four hours a day. Free tutoring in Ancient Greek and Latin is provided.听Those who complete both courses will have the equivalent of two years of ancient language training听in just twelve weeks. Upon completion of each course students听will be ready to enter intermediate level courses in the fall term.听
The Summer Intensive Language Program in Classical Studies听is ideal for听students entering university who wish to get a head start on an undergraduate program that requires knowledge of Greek and/or Latin, such as Classics (especially an honours program), Religious Studies, Medieval Studies, and Philosophy. These courses are ideal training听for advanced students in University who听plan to continue onto听graduate studies听in fields related to Classics, such as听ancient Greek and Roman History, Art History, Classical Archaeology, Early Christianity, Ancient Philosophy, Linguistics听and Political Theory. These courses are also ideal for students who are simply interested in learning the languages in and of themselves.

- Registration opens for听U3听and听U4听苹果淫院 students (including U3 and U4 readmitted students) on听March 5.
- Registration opens for听U0,听U1听and听U2听苹果淫院 students (including U2 and U1 readmitted students) and all听Special听and听Visiting听Students on听March 7.
- March 1, 2023: U3 and U4 苹果淫院 students
- March 3, 2023: U2 and U1 苹果淫院 students and all Special and Visiting students
