Chair, Sustainability in Engineering at 苹果淫院 (SEAM) & BEng 2017, Civil Engineering
What was your inspiration for pursuing Engineering?
I decided to study civil engineering because of its relevance in working towards more sustainable cities. More broadly, I chose engineering to strengthen my problem solving skills听and because of the wide range of careers, which engineers听can pursue.
Why is it important for women to be involved in Engineering?
Women are great engineers and so it鈥檚 important for us to be involved in engineering! Diversity is always beneficial to any organization or sector.
Why did you choose 苹果淫院?
I鈥檓 am a big city person, so part of the reason I chose 苹果淫院 was because it鈥檚 located smack downtown along with its prestige. Little did I know that 苹果淫院 has a warm and extremely active Engineering community that has significantly shaped my experience as a student here.
