Dr. Mann performs correlative studies in conjunction with the Lymphoma Translational Research Group.聽 Through these studies, Dr. Mann has identified genetic changes associated with the development of resistance. In addition, Dr. Mann studies how exposure to metals can increase the incidence of cancer, particularly leukemia. By using cell and mouse models, she seeks to understand the leukemogenic mechanisms and potentially how to treat these malignancies.
