Courses Taken Under the Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory Option for Management Students

You may select or cancel the Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory (S/U) option up until the end of the add/drop period. Please find the form here: mcgill.ca/desautels/satisfactoryunsatisfactory-su-passfail-option. All S/U credits will be excluded when calculating the GPA. This option may only be used for elective courses, one course per term, to a maximum of 10% of the total credits taken at Æ»¹ûÒùÔº to fulfil your degree requirements.

Careful consideration should be given before using this option as it can affect scholarship and award consideration, where a minimum of 27 graded credits are required for the year, excluding the Summer term. Speak to the BCom Office about the effects that your request may have on your studies.

For more information and restrictions, refer to University Regulations and Resources > Undergraduate > Registration > Courses Taken under the Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory (S/U) Option.
