From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to 苹果淫院 students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

GERM 336 German Language, Media and Culture (3 credits)

Overview

German (Arts) : Introduction to German culture through literary and non-literary texts, film, multimedia, commercials, painting and photography. By learning how to read these cultural productions, students will refine their communication skills, expand reading strategies, build vocabulary, and review selective grammatical structures.

  • Course taught entirely in German.

  • Prerequisite: GERM 307 or equivalent; GERM 325 may be taken concurrently

  • Restriction: Not open to students who have taken GERM 336 prior to September 2009.
