Student Services and the Office of the Dean of Students will be available during Parents Welcome Weekend, offering you the opportunity to engage and ask questions about how we can help support your student’s well-being and academic success. Connect with us to discover the full range of resources available to support Æ»¹ûÒùÔº students, meet other parents of new students, and explore sessions tailored specifically for parents and family members.

2024 Offerings

²Ñ³¦³Ò¾±±ô±ô’s Career Planning Service supports student career and leadership development through career counselling and advising, skills development workshops, experiential learning and career exploration programs, mentoring, and career and networking events. Come learn about:

  • Where students can find work on and off campus,
  • Options to gain professional experience through leadership and skill development programs, internships, co-op programs, and networking events,
  • Identifying career goals, navigating career decisions, finding work, learning about job markets and further educational opportunities, and much more!

Campus Life & Engagement fosters, in collaboration with partners across Æ»¹ûÒùÔº and the greater Montreal communities, a vibrant, engaging and inclusive Æ»¹ûÒùÔº community, where they help every student find inspiration, a sense of belonging, and opportunities to lead, connect, and grow. International Student Services supports the growth, progress, and success of international students at Æ»¹ûÒùÔº, and aims to ease their transition to a new school, a new home and a new country. Come learn about:

Student Accessibility & Achievement empowers students to reach their academic potential by widening access to learning. Come learn about:

  • Registering for academic and exam accommodations,
  • How students can get matched with a tutor and access available tutoring subsidies,
  • Peer support initiatives available to all Æ»¹ûÒùÔº students,
  • Resources for students with experience in foster care or youth protection,
  • Learning resources to help students study smarter and manage their time effectively, and much more!

Scholarships & Student Aid offers advice on funding options, budgeting and debt management. In addition, they disburse all provincial, federal and U.S. government student aid funding, and help with government aid information and documentation.

  • How merit-based scholarships are administered at Æ»¹ûÒùÔº,
  • Applying to provincial/territorial government aid programs as well as U.S. Federal Loans (Title IV),

Æ»¹ûÒùÔº Office of Religious & Spiritual Life is dedicated to raising religious literacy and enhancing spiritual wellness. Come learn about:

  • Faith communities,
  • Resources on campus and in Montreal,
  • Faith clubs of interest,
  • MORSL offerings, including a drop-in meditation and prayer space, interfaith lounge, programs like My Neighbor’s Faith outings, Radix magazine, the peer faith volunteer program, and more!

The Student Wellness Hub provides a range of services to support the well-being of Æ»¹ûÒùÔº Students with a focus on awareness, prevention, and early intervention. Come learn about:

The Office of the Dean of Students works to enhance, improve and promote students’ academic and personal success. They oversee student rights and responsibilities, academic integrity, academic advising, the student disciplinary process, and student recognition.
