PUBLIC PANEL DISCUSSION

Policy works best when is it aligned across different sectors of government. This premise has led to decades of health advocacy attempting to infuse health goals into all government policies, from trade, to agriculture, to finance. However, health considerations are but one of many intersecting considerations facing governments.

This panel brings together four individuals who have spent their career grappling with the question of how governments can establish policies and programs that advance health and other social goals.

Individual presentations will be followed by an engaging panel discussion on the complexities of policy coherence for healthy product environments.
