A Critical Dialogue on Youth Leadership in Research

Wednesday, October 9, 2024 09:00to11:00

What happens when youth play lead roles in research projects?

What can adult allyship look like in this work? What is the role of art in this process?

Join this critical discussion with youth and adult researchers exploring youth leadership in different contexts in South Africa and in Canada.

The webinar will be informal and structured like a dialogue. Each presenter begin with a story of a project they have been involved in and what they have learned doing this work. The webinar will then open up a facilitated discussion for anyone who wants to share something they have learned in their work, or bring critical questions to the group. All are welcome!

Wednesday, October 9, 2024 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am

With youth and adult researchers from Canada and South Africa: Thamer Linklater, Naomi Nichols, Bongiwe Maome, Relebohile Moletsane, and DISE's Jayne Malenfant.
