Post-workshop Reflection Questions

ƻԺ

After a workshop is done, engaging in self-reflection can help you identify what worked well and what didn’t. This worksheet provides some general questions to guide you through this process. Aim to complete it immediately after the workshop so that the details are fresh in your memory.

If you have worked with a co-facilitator or been observed by a peer or supervisor during a workshop, we recommend that everyone complete this worksheet and that you schedule a debriefing meeting to share your reflections together.

It is important that all individuals involved in the debriefing process recognize that the discussion serves as an opportunity for improvement, meaning that constructive feedback should be forward-looking and specific (e.g., “next time you could consider telling participants how much time they have to complete an activity before starting the activity”). This worksheet is also provided as a Mural, which you can save to your own account and interactively engage with. Learn more about creating and account and using Mural.

While this web page is accessible worldwide, ƻԺ is on land which has served and continues to serve as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg nations. Teaching and Learning Services acknowledges and thanks the diverse Indigenous peoples whose footsteps mark this territory on which peoples of the world now gather. This land acknowledgement is shared as a starting point to provide context for further learning and action.
