Both final-year medical students and those who have approved post-graduate training may apply to the Program. Usually, six PGY-1聽and PGY-2聽positions are available each year. Three are offered through the CIMS-Intern Match. These positions are funded by the provincial government and are without restriction regarding location of planned practice. Our Program can also accommodate one or two residents each year who are privately funded through official government or university channels.

The Obstetrics and Gynecology program encourages IMG applicants to come for an observership聽as part of their application process before the application deadline. Observerships will only be granted to those who have proof of funding and are planning to apply. Observerships must be completed before the application deadline.聽When applying for an observership please take into account that observership requests聽take 4聽weeks to process.

The Obstetrics and Gynecology program also聽strongly favors a working knowledge of French.
