Caregiver Skills Training: Master Trainer Program

Become a Master Trainer for the Caregivers Skills Training (CST) Program, and help caregivers of young children with neurodevelopmental conditions, including autism, learn the skills needed to support their child's growth and development.

Gain knowledge and skills to:

  • Teach caregivers to use evidence-basedÌýstrategies with their children promoting shared engagement, social skills, and positive behaviours through play and daily home routines
  • Implement the CST Program in your routine services
  • Train and supervise others to carry out the intervention with you.

About the CST Program
  • Developed by the , with support from , and used in 30+ countries to help address widespread shortage of evidence-based early intervention
  • For caregivers of 2- to 7-year-old children with neurodevelopmental conditions, including autism
  • Aims to empower parents and caregivers with knowledge, skills, and resources toÌýhelp better support their children and improve wellbeingÌý
  • The CST Program includes nine group sessions and three individual coaching visits that cover topics such as communication, daily living skills, positive behaviour and engagement, as well as caregiving coping skills
