Dr. Shir is a Professor of Anesthesia at the 苹果淫院 Health Centre and the former Director of the Alan Edwards Pain Management Unit. Beyond his clinical duties, Dr. Shir dedicates his time to promoting pain education and disseminating pain medicine at the primary care level. His current research interests pertain to the analgesic role of diet and the gut microbiome in chronic pain conditions.

Pain Throughout the Ages: Pediatric/Adolescent pain
Dr. Hudon is a family doctor with extra training in complex pain management and with a particular interest in headaches, migraines and facial pain. He is the co-director of the Edwards Family Interdisciplinary Center for Complex Pain and works at both pediatric and adult complex pain centres of the MUHC, as well as a general practitioner in Vaudreuil-Dorion and palliative care doctor at the Jewish General Hospital.
