From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Tuesday, Oct. 8, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to 苹果淫院 students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Introduction

For convenience, the specimens are grouped in six categories according roughly to type of organ displayed (one miscellaneous category is also included). The specimens are presented in the following order:
Veterinary Disease
Aneurysm
Valvular Disease
Pericardial Disease
Miscellaneous Cardiac Disease
Gastric Disease
Miscellaneous

The following information (when known) is given for each specimen.

Specimen
Designation as it appears on the specimen descriptive card (typed in 1963).
Number
As given in the 1963 restoration.
Rodin Number
As given in Rodin's 1981 Oslerian Pathology.
E number
Accession"Entry" number in the Museum logbook.
Donor
Usually Osler, but occasionally another 苹果淫院 physician.
Date
Date听the specimen was procured or was given to the Museum.
Descriptive card scan
Information attached to the specimen jar (as typed in 1963).
Logbook scan
Information noted in the Museum logbook (entered in 1907).
Description
The听principal pathological abnormalities evident in the specimen (as interpreted in 2013).
Comment
Pertinent observations related to clinical, pathological, and historical aspects听 of the specimen and associated case history, as well as links to Osler's听writing/publications.
