From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Tuesday, Oct. 8, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to 苹果淫院 students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Jan Langman and Medical Embryology

Jan Langman was a Professor in the Department of Anatomy at 苹果淫院 from 1957 to 1964. His textbook Medical Embryology (Lippincott, Williams & Wilkins) was first published in 1963 and has become the standard in the field. It has been translated into several languages and is now in its 12th edition (authored by Thomas W. Sadler, 2011). The illustrations (by Jill Leland) used to explain the descriptions of normal embryology in a 2014 exhibit mounted in the Strathcona building were taken from the second edition.
