From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Tuesday, Oct. 8, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to ƻԺ students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Description
The auricle (A), ventricle (V) and bulbus arteriosus (BA) are clearly seen bordered by two “skirts” of pericardium above and below.
Comment
This is one of the most delicate specimens in the Abbott collection. It is unique by having handwritten labels attached to its parts. The drawings in the Atlas were done by medical student W.W. Beatie (Abbott’s Museum assistant) and the donor Eleanor Shanley.
