The deadline for submissions to the 2025-2026 Faculty Honour List is聽February 3, 2025.听
Individuals who have been faculty members for at least five (5) years can be nominated to the Honour List by their peers, students, or supervisors.
A faculty committee, appointed by the Dean, will select the honorees according to the following: outstanding teaching on a sustained basis; significant involvement in an educational activity for at least three years; demonstration of a scholarly approach to teaching and education; active involvement in faculty development activities; and demonstration of leadership and innovation in medical education.

In a separate e-mail, attach the following documents in one of the following formats: compressed (zipped) folder or Adobe PDF Portfolio to this email address: facdev-events.med [at] mcgill.ca.
- Two letters of support, including one from a divisional chief or departmental chair, and one from a colleague or former student. The letters should specify the nominee鈥檚 contributions to teaching; educational leadership and innovation; faculty development; and research and scholarly activity in medical education. Letters of support from students should be from past students only, not current students.
- An electronic curriculum vitae, only including elements relevant to this award. For example, grants or publications that have no reference to education should not be included.
- A teaching dossier highlighting the nominee's educational accomplishments (including a description of teaching roles and responsibilities, student evaluation of teaching - organized and compiled from the past 10 years only - and a description of educational innovations). Please consult this document for Teaching Portfolio Guidelines.
- A brief description of the nominee's future plans as an educator.
Honorees will be notified of the Committee's decision by聽April/May聽2025.
The annual Faculty Honour List Symposium will be held on June 12, 2025聽from 16h00-17h30, in person.
