Æ»¹ûÒùÔº Alumni Association (MAA) Honours and Awards

Æ»¹ûÒùԺ’s 275,000+ alumni include many stellar graduates who have given back through their volunteer leadership, expertise or philanthropic activities.

Each year, the MAA recognizes some of these outstanding alumni, along with students, friends, faculty and staff of Æ»¹ûÒùÔº, for their exceptional service at the prestigious Honours and Awards Banquet in Montreal. Every year, many winners represent the Faculty of Medicine.

The call for nominations usually occurs in November. The nomination forms are available at that time .

The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences’ University Advancement team would like to congratulate the 2023 winner from our Faculty:

Lashanda also co-founded Supporting Young Black Students, a student-led initiative that aims to inspire Black high school and CEGEP students to pursue careers in the health professions through mentorships and hands-on learning, among other initiatives.
