From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to Æ»¹ûÒùÔº students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.


Du samedi 5 octobre au lundi 7 octobre, le campus du centre-ville et le campus Macdonald ne seront accessibles qu’aux étudiants et aux membres du personnel de l’Université Æ»¹ûÒùÔº, ainsi qu’aux visiteurs essentiels. Biography: 

Anny Guimont holds a B.A. in Hispanic Studies from Æ»¹ûÒùÔº. She received her M.A. in Spanish Literature at Université de Montréal. Before coming to Æ»¹ûÒùÔº she taught at Université de Montréal and UQAM. In 1999 she joined the Department of Hispanic Studies at Æ»¹ûÒùÔº and the Department of Classics, Modern Languages and Linguistics at Concordia University. She teaches in both universities as a part time faculty member, now in the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures of Æ»¹ûÒùÔº. Her teaching interests focus on the interplay of Hispanic culture  (popular music, poetry, literature, journalism, film) and the Spanish language as well as on students’ collaborative work and writing.   

Anny Guimont has presented the results of her teaching expertise at a variety of academic conferences and workshops.
