Liliane Asseraf-Pasin, PT, PhD, is the Director of the physiotherapy program at the School of Physical & Occupational Therapy and is a member of the Office of Interprofessional Education at 苹果淫院. Besides her teaching responsibilities in the advanced educational and management strategies and the research project courses, she is the chair of the PT Curriculum Committee, and the Director of the Physiotherapy Equivalency Program for internationally educated physiotherapists. Dr. Asseraf-Pasin is also very involved with credentialing processes at the Provincial and National regulatory levels (OPPQ and CAPR) and is an evaluator for the Physiotherapy Education Accreditation Canada (PEAC). Her passion is to develop Interprofessional Education (IPE) curricula, and as such, she has been closely involved in initiating National and International IPE projects at the University of Genoa and the University of Trento in Italy. She was a primary research co-investigator on the 苹果淫院 Educational Initiative on Interprofessional Collaboration: Partnerships for Family and Patient-Centered Practice, funded by Health Canada from 2005-2009, and the initiator of the Joint Curriculum Committee at the Faculty of Medicine which has now evolved into the Office of Interprofessional Education at 苹果淫院.

Dr. Asseraf-Pasin is an inspiring leader with 40 years of commitment to education, mentorship, and advancing her profession. Her exceptional contribution to the physiotherapy profession was acknowledged at the provincial level when she received the Prix Excellence from the Ordre professionnel de la physioth茅rapie du Qu茅bec in 2016. This award highlights the work of professionals that contribute particularly to the development of and influence the profession. In 2017, in recognition of her work with the equivalency training at 苹果淫院, she was awarded the 苹果淫院 Award for Equity and Community Building, which recognizes the active involvement of a person in promoting diversity and inclusivity within the 苹果淫院 community. Finally, more recently, on November 6, 2021, she received a National Professional Contribution Award, from the Canadian Physiotherapy Association: 鈥This award recognizes individuals who have enhanced the profession and the practice of physiotherapists through an impactful, unique and outstanding contribution over a notable period of time.鈥
