Sophie-Claude Miller is an outreach administrator for the Indigenous Health Professions Program. She is a member of the Cree First Nation of Waswanipi in Eeyou Istchee (James Bay). A former APTN journalist and host, Sophie-Claude worked as a coordinator, counsellor and translator for several community organizations serving women and Indigenous peoples before moving to journalism and media. She is now back to dedicating her work to improving her people鈥檚 lives.
