Daisy Hsu

Daisy Hsu is currently a graduate student in Transportation Engineering in the Department of Civil Engineering at 苹果淫院. Her research interests include the impact of climate on transportation systems, the impact of transport on the environment, and emission reduction technologies in transportation. She grew up in Vancouver, B.C., and graduated with a B.Sc. in Environmental Sciences from the University of British Columbia. Daisy has worked in various roles in both the private and public sectors for over five years. In recent years, she worked as an Environmental Assessment Analyst with the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada and as a Scientific Officer with Environment and Climate Change Canada.

Eduardo Adame Valenzuela

Eduardo is a master鈥檚 student in Transportation Engineering in the Department of Civil Engineering at 苹果淫院. In his hometown of Queretaro (Mexico), he received a Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Civil Engineering at Tecnol贸gico de Monterrey. During his undergrad studies, Eduardo did an internship at the Department of Mobility of the city. His research interests include helping the development and planning of public transit systems around the world.

Sara Zein

Sara Zein is a master鈥檚 student in transportation engineering in the Department of Civil Engineering at 苹果淫院. Sara received her Bachelor鈥檚 of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon. Her research interests include roadway safety and mobility issues. In the future, she expects to work as a professional transportation engineer in Montreal.

L茅a Simon De Kergunic

L茅a is a master鈥檚 student in Transportation Engineering in the Department of Civil Engineering at 苹果淫院. She grew up in Paris (France) and received her Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Engineering at the French engineering school CentraleSupelec. During her gap year, she worked as an Environment Strategy Analyst for TotalEnergies and a Computational Modeller for The Ocean Cleanup. Her research interest includes active sustainable mobility and the impact of transportation on the environment. Her current research is focused on bicycle accessibility to schools in Montreal.

Ian Boyd

Ian Boyd is a graduate student in transportation engineering in the Department of Civil Engineering at 苹果淫院. Ian is originally from Truro, Nova Scotia, and graduated with a B.Eng in Electrical Engineering from 苹果淫院 in 2017. Previously he assisted in research on using various LiDAR technologies to count pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles. His current research focuses on the application of machine learning with 3D LiDAR to monitor traffic flows at intersections.
