Donald Boudreau

DONALD BOUDREAU, MD, FRCPC, is an Associate Professor in the Institute of Health Sciences Education. A recently retired pulmonary specialist, he has been involved in medical education, at both undergraduate and graduate levels, for over 30 years. At the undergraduate level, he has held numerous leadership posts including that of Associate Dean, Medical Education and Student Affairs. Dr. Boudreau is an Arnold P. Gold Professor of Medicine. The Arnold P. Gold Foundation is dedicated to humanism in medicine. Dr. Boudreau has collaborated in medical education projects in various countries, including Australia, Italy, Switzerland and Norway. He is an adjunct professor at The University of Notre Dame Australia, School of Medicine, Sydney. He has authored or co-authored over 50 peer reviewed articles or book chapters and is co-author of ‘Physicianship and the Rebirth of Medical Education’ published by Oxford University Press and released in 2018. His current research interests are in practical wisdom AKA phronesis.
