Graduate Orientation Workshops

Graduate Orientation hosts sessions on 18 topics, some of which are dedicated to students entering Masters or Doctoral programs, but most of them are applicable to every new graduate student. Many sessions are held more than once, allowing you to pick and choose the topics and times that are best for you!听

Fellowship Info Sessions
As a graduate student, you can apply for a fellowship to receive government funding for one or multiple years of your degree! Fellowship sessions are offered by 苹果淫院 professors who have reviewed applications for the respective funding agency at the federal or provincial level, and by graduate students who have received the respective fellowship. There are funding opportunities for open to all graduate students, regardless of citizenship status, degree level, or field.

What I Wish I鈥檇 Known (When Starting Grad School)
Looking to hear about graduate school from the student perspective? Attend the What I Wish I'd Known (When Starting Grad School) panel! A diverse panel of returning grad students will share their experiences, challenges, and tips for making the most of your first year in a graduate program. The panelists will also be on hand to answer any questions you may have!听

Graduate Welcome Reception
Thursday August 22, 2:00 - 4:00pm
The Graduate Welcome Reception is our opportunity to officially welcome you graduate studies at 苹果淫院!
Join us for words of welcome from members of 苹果淫院's senoir leadership, followed by food and light refreshments. It is also a great opportunity to sit down and take a break after the week's workshops, while getting to know your peers better!
Please note that space at the reception is limited, and we will not be able to accomodate students who have not registered for the event.
Graduate Services Fair

The Graduate Services Fair is your opportunity to meet representatives of dozens of the most important services, offices, and groups supporting your success as a graduate student at McGil. Take this opportunity to learn more about how they are helping you, and what opportunities you can take advantage of to get the most out of your studies.
Participants include Student Services, Graduate Funding, myPath, the Post-Graduate Students' Society, Graphos, and many more!
This is a drop-in/drop-out event, and walk-ins are welcome!
