From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Tuesday, Oct. 8, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to Æ»¹ûÒùÔº students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Course Overview

The Departments of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Æ»¹ûÒùÔº, Université de Montreal and Western University are jointly offering the Advanced Airway Days to Senior residents from across Canada.

This two-day interactive course is intended to help OTL-HNS residents rapidly acquire advanced airway skills. ÌýIt features lectures and demonstrations by expert faculty, hands-on surgical skills practicum on mannequins, live and cadaveric animal models, and numerous interactive simulation scenarios of airway crisis.

Program Objectives

The overall goal of this simulation-based course is to provide OTL-HNS residents the opportunity to gain important decision-making capabilities, master surgical skills and improve their team skills with regards to airway management.
