Biography

Serge Gauthier is a clinical neurologist specialising in the development of new tools for diagnosis and treatments for people living with Alzheimer鈥檚 disease. He was the Director of the 苹果淫院 Research Centre for Studies in Aging (MCSA) from 1986 to 1997, and Director of the Alzheimer Disease and Related Disorders Research Unit of the MCSA until 2021.听He became a senior scientist of the CIHR-Rx&D program (Canadian Institutes of Health Research and Canada鈥檚 Research-Based Pharmaceutical Companies) in 1997. Dr. Gauthier is the Academic Co-Lead for the Dementia Education Program and Professor Emeritus, Neurology and Psychiatry at 苹果淫院. His accomplishments led to him being appointed to the Order of Canada in 2014 and the National Order of Qu茅bec in 2017.

Biography

Pedro Rosa-Neto is a clinical neurologist with expertise in the quantification of dementia patho颅physiology and preclinical diagnosis of Alzheimer鈥檚 disease using biomarkers. He is affiliated with the Douglas Research Institute; le Centre int茅gr茅 universitaire de sant茅 et de services sociaux (CIUSSS) de l鈥橭uest-de-l鈥櫭巐e-de-Montr茅al; and the Departments of Neurology and Neu颅rosurgery, Psychiatry and Pharmacology and Therapeutics at 苹果淫院. He was appointed Director of the 苹果淫院 Research Centre for Studies in Aging in 2017. This was soon followed by a Professor position in Neurology at 苹果淫院 in 2019.听 听

Biography

Jos茅 A. Morais is Professor of Medicine at 苹果淫院. He is a senior scientist at the Research Institute of the 苹果淫院 Health Centre (RI-MUHC) in the Metabolic Disorders and Complications axis. In 2009, he became Director of the Division of Geriat颅ric Medicine, 苹果淫院, as well as of the MUHC and Jewish General Hospital. He is also Co-Director of the Quebec Network for Research on Aging and is the Academic Lead of the Demen颅tia Education Program of the 苹果淫院 Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. He was the Founder and first Director of the Centre of Excellence on Aging and Chronic Disease of the RUISSS 苹果淫院 from 2012鈥2015.

Biography

Claire Webster is a Certified Alzheimer Care Consultant (PAC), Certified Professional Con颅sultant on Aging (CPCA), as well as a conference speaker and educator in the field of caring for an individual with dementia. She is Founder and President of Caregiver Crosswalk Inc., a consulting firm that provides education and support services to help individuals navigate the journey of Alzheimer鈥檚 disease and/or dementia related illnesses. Claire works in collab颅oration with 苹果淫院鈥檚 Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and the Division of Geriatric Medicine. She is the Founder and Ambassador of the 苹果淫院 Dementia Education Program and 鈥溒还 Cares,鈥 a weekly webcast series designed to support family care partners.

Stijn Servaes

Biography

Stijn Servaes is a neuroscientist and data scientist who specializes in the identification of early Alzheimer鈥檚 disease using advanced statistical methods, artificial intelligence and state-of-the-art biomarkers. Currently, he works as a postdoctoral fellow at the Translational Neuroimaging Laboratory from the 苹果淫院 Research Centre for Studies in Aging after acquiring a PhD in neuroscience and medical imaging from the University of Antwerp.
