iMPACTS Research Assistant and PhD Student Sarah Zreim received a . Sarah studies the influence of sexualized cyberbullying on adolescent girls in Canada who identify as ethnic and sexual minorities. Specifically, Sarah's research is led by two objectives:

1. Investigate whether Canadian ethnic and sexual minority girls are more susceptible to sexualized cyberbullying than non-minority girls
2. Conduct an intersectional analysis of ethnic and sexual minority identities to examine the impacts of sexualized cyberbullying on adolescent girls’ sense of school belonging.

The SSHRC Doctoral Fellowships support high-calibre students engaged in doctoral programs in the social sciences and humanities. This support allows scholars to fully focus on their doctoral studies, seek out the best research mentors in their chosen fields, and contribute to the Canadian research ecosystem during and beyond the tenure of their awards.
