Jennifer Ritonja

Dr. Jennifer Ritonja is a postdoctoral fellow at 苹果淫院 and St. Mary's Research Centre. Her area of research specializes in identifying modifiable risk factors for cancer in women. She completed her BSc from Carleton University, and holds an MSc and PhD in epidemiology from Queen鈥檚 University where her graduate work focused on investigating the adverse health impacts of working night shifts in women for diseases such as breast cancer and cardiovascular disease.聽

Project Title:聽The impact of adiposity and physical activity across the life course on ovarian cancer risk (supervisor: Dr. Anita Koushik).

Brief Description:聽My postdoctoral research project uses life course epidemiologic modeling and Bayesian statistics to examine how the timing of obesity and physical activity during adulthood impact ovarian cancer risk in women.聽
