Bio: Charissa von Harringa holds a PhD in Global Contemporary Art and Art Histories from Concordia University, where she was named Faculty of Fine Arts Graduate Valedictorian (2024). As a Postdoctoral Researcher at Æ»¹ûÒùÔº, she investigates the intersections of art, architecture, and exhibitionary practices, exploring how contemporary artists globally reimagine architectural concepts and spaces through forms of lived expression. With eight years of experience in academic and cultural sectors, von Harringa has co-curated exhibitions including Among All These Tundras and Tusarnitut! Music Born of the Cold. As Managing Editor of the Arctic Arts Summit Digital Platform, she facilitates international dialogue on art, culture, and policy related to the circumpolar north, emphasizing cross-cultural perspectives and collaborative approaches.
