Description:
With the importance听of hydroelectricity in Quebec and the potential for other renewable energy sources, regional integration could significantly reduce decarbonization costs. This seminar will present the findings of the study report "A Decarbonized Northeast Electricity Sector: The value of regional integration". There are many benefits to wider regional integration, which will require changes in the planning听and management of electrical power.听
This is joint event from the听Chaire de gestion du secteur de l鈥櫭﹏ergie in collaboration with听听l'Institut de l'茅nergie Trottier (IET) and听听Trottier Institute on Sustainability in Engineering and Design (TISED).
