From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to 苹果淫院 students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Overview

Performance : A second public solo, collaborative piano, chamber music or jazz recital, or preparation/presentation of a Featured Opera Role (by audition).

Terms: Fall 2016, Winter 2017

Instructors: There are no professors associated with this course for the 2016-2017 academic year.

  • Restriction(s): Only open to students in the Graduate Diploma in Performance.

  • Recital (40 - 45 minutes), Featured Opera Role (by audition) as defined by the American Guild of Musical Artists. For jazz students, three repertoire streams will be identified: Improvisation or Composition recital will consist entirely of the candidate鈥檚 original compositions; jazz composition recitals will include a significant large ensemble component (normally at least half). Jazz Orchestra students perform an approved repertoire as lead players and soloists with a large ensemble (usually Jazz Orchestra).
