From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Tuesday, Oct. 8, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to 苹果淫院 students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Caring Conversations: How to manage hallucinations, delusions and paranoia associated with dementia

Caring Conversations聽is an online forum for care partners of people living with dementia to learn from experts, share concerns and ask questions.

Join a conversation with social worker聽Lucy Barylak聽and professional coach and educator聽Joanne Besner聽about topics that are important to care partners. After an educational presentation by the hosts, there will be an opportunity to share your own concerns and ask questions.

罢丑别听Caring Conversations聽platform permits people to participate online and by telephone. When you register, you will be provided with a link to join online, and a phone number if you prefer to call in. You will need to register online to receive the link and call-in number.

The next episode of聽Caring Conversations聽will take place on聽October 22, 2024 at 11 a.m.聽on the topic of How to manage hallucinations, delusions and paranoia associated with聽dementia.

Joanne and Lucy will explain the difference between these troubling experiences, why they occur with dementia, and provide some tips on how to respond to each situation.聽

While Caring Conversations will continue to take place online, please note that exceptionally for this episode, we are also offering the option to attend this session in person at our offices in Montreal.
