My <a href="https://open.library.ubc.ca/soa/cIRcle/collections/ubctheses/24/items/1.0406097">doctoral research</a> was conducted in Gulu in 2019, but that was not the only reason for taking the celebrations to Gulu. In October 2020, UNSCR 1325 celebrated its 20<sup>th</sup> anniversary.
