Nanoplastics are far tinier - a single nanometre is just 0.000001 millimetres. For comparison, a human hair is approximately 80,000–100,000 nanometers wide.
Thu, 04 Jul 2024 17:50:18 +0000 admin 5659 at /research Government of Canada funds Æ»¹ûÒùԺ research on contaminants in aquatic ecosystems /research/channels/news/government-canada-funds-mcgill-research-contaminants-aquatic-ecosystems-330068
Microplastics are tiny pieces of plastic that are microscopic and up to 5 millimetres in size.
