Dr. Ryuko Kubota, of the University of British Columbia, delivered an excellent talk about the neoliberal expectation of communication in the English language in Japan. The talk took place on February 24, 2022 via Zoom, and was followed by a discussion session with an international audience. The event was sponsored by the Department of Integrated Studies in Education (DISE) at 苹果淫院, and co-hosted by Research Group and DISE Research Talks.
