After taking part in a competition against other Canadian cities, Montr茅al and 苹果淫院 were the winning bid to host the 2020 Multidisciplinary Approaches in Language Policy and Planning () conference.
The bid was prepared by Dr. Mela Sarkar and Dr. Angelica Galante, co-chairs of the conference, with the support of , which is sponsoring the event. Montr茅al is linguistically, culturally, and ethnically diverse and the perfect place to host discussions of language planning and policy at provincial, national and international levels.
LPP2020 will be held at 苹果淫院's Faculty of Education from August 20 to 22, 2020 and the event is being co-organized by members of the Belonging, Identity, Language and Diversity () research group.
Proposals will be accepted until February 29, 2020. Check the and submit your work.
