Biography: 

Neuropathology Site Director (the Neuro) and Chief of Division of Pathology (MUHC-Optilab).聽

Current research: 

The development and integration of advanced molecular techniques in the clinical practice of oncologic neuropathology. The implementation of the following molecular tests (LOH 1p/19q, amplification of EGFR, methylation status of the MGMT promoter gene, sequencing of IDH1 and IDH2 genes, TERT promoter mutation) has made Neuropathology an active and an essential member of the clinical Neuro-oncology group at the Montreal Neurological Hospital and at the 苹果淫院 Center Hospital. This basic and clinical research work is leading to the assembly of large databases of glial tumors that include clinical data, treatment modalities, survival, pathological and molecular data.

Several collaborations with oncology and neurodegenerative disease researchers across campus.
