Madeleine Buck鈥檚 teaching areas include acute and chronic illness management, symptom management, development of clinical assessment and clinical reasoning skills, and global health. As B.Sc.(N) Program Director, she is involved in program development and evaluation, student advisement, and direct teaching. She is a Clinical Associate at the 苹果淫院 Health Centre. At a national level, she is an accreditor with the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing and member of the Canadian Patient Safety Institute taskforce establishing guidelines for patient safety in nursing education. At an international level, she is Chair of 苹果淫院 Nurses for Highlands Hope and works with a group of nurses and community volunteers in Tanzania to address the challenge of HIV/AIDS in the Njombe region of the Southern Highlands of Tanzania.聽
