Current research:

I use a genetic approach to study the biology of aging and the causative factors involved in neurodegenerative diseases, such as Parkinson's disease and Huntington's disease. My work aims to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying the aging process, and to use the knowledge gained to promote healthy aging and to develop new treatments for neurodegenerative disorders.
