The new partnership between the Tanenbaum Open Science Institute (TOSI) at The Neuro and the at the University of Calgary is an 鈥渆normously encouraging and exciting鈥� step towards establishing an Open Science network in Canada, said Heather Munroe-Blum, TOSI co-founder and Principal Emerita of 苹果淫院.
鈥淭here鈥檚 no question that the pandemic has proven to the world that there are big problems we can鈥檛 solve without Open Science,鈥� she said. 鈥淐OVID-19 has shown how important it is for us to act in concert in sharing our data, our information, our samples.鈥�
Munroe-Blum praised the partnership as an 鈥渁bsolutely essential next step鈥� in breaking down barriers and fostering collaboration in global neuroscience research.
