This two-day intensive workshop will present introductory concepts in project management, with a particular focus on project initiation and planning, using your academic thesis as a sample project.聽
Conducted over two consecutive afternoons, part one will guide you on how to write a project charter, while part two, a project plan.聽The main objective of this workshop is to help you achieve your academic goals in the most efficient manner possible, structuring your activities according to globally recognized industry standards in project management.
IMPORTANT: REGISTRATION IS FOR BOTH DATES (OCT. 10 AND 11). YOU CANNOT REGISTER FOR JUST ONE DAY
Learning Objectives:
- Define project management, the role of the project manager, and the project life cycle
- Understand the strategic need for project feasibility and project planning
- Identify the essential components of a comprehensive project charter and project plan
- Assess whether your thesis project meets industry criteria required for successful project planning
- Engage with fellow students and exchange experiences to better pursue your thesis activities
