Dr. Mu虉ller will provide an introduction to the聽different science advisory bodies in the European聽Union and how scientific evidence makes its way聽into the policy process. Drawing on his extensive聽experience in the European science advice context,聽he will reflect on the complexity of European聽policy-making and the importance of science for聽better regulation. At the same time, he will discuss聽the challenges of contemporary science advice,聽from the accelerating avalanche of scientific聽knowledge and ever-increasing complexity of policy聽challenges to the globally evolving tide of聽populists and fact-deniers.
