The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (RASC) Montreal Centre is holding a one-hour public lecture by Robert Vanderwee on the Perseids鈥� celestial fireworks. If the sky is clear, the conference will be followed by outdoor observation: join enthusiastic stargazers for some spectacular views of the night sky, through the 14" telescope in the Bellevue Observatory and the other telescopes made available to you by RASC members.

Wear appropriate outdoor clothing.

Free admission 鈥� donations are gladly accepted to help fund these events.
