From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Tuesday, Oct. 8, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to 苹果淫院 students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Elections Alberta recommends legislative changes to tackle misinformation, disinformation | CBC

December 7, 2022 | The independent and non-partisan office that administers Alberta's provincial elections is recommending legislative changes to address misinformation and disinformation. Mathieu Lavigne, a senior researcher at the Centre for Media, Technology, and Democracy has been researching misinformation during elections and stated that better education about how elections work is crucial in reducing the spread of misinformation and increase trust in the election process.听

"If we educate people about how our election works, then if they see misinformation online, they already have the right information, so they're less likely to be misled," he said.听
