There is a pie for every palate and there should be some on every plate! Join ROAAr and guests for a pie appreciation conversation on 3.1415 - pie appreciation on the day after Pi-day. Bakers and panelists will talk through their experience adapting historical pie recipes from the 苹果淫院 Rare Cookbook Collection. Tune in for a tasteful discussion of successes, changes in baking practice, and the sweet vs savoury debate.

About the Speakers
Kristen C. Howard is the Liaison Librarian for History, Classics, Indigenous Studies, and Religious Studies at the 苹果淫院 Library. Kristen has a PhD in History and a keen interest in food history.
Marcy听Goldman听is a Montreal-based cookbook author and professional trained pastry chef (as well as a 苹果淫院 English Literature grad!) She's a contributor to the Washington Post, Costco Magazine and hosts her own baking site, Betterbaking.com since 1997. Currently she is at work on a new cookbook on breads which will be her 15th cookbook title.
