We, at the Indigenous Health Professions Program (IHPP), would like to take the time to honour the life of Joyce Echaquan. Three years ago, on September 28, Joyce was unjustly taken from this earth. In her memory, we wear purple on this day to represent the impact she has made on this world. We honour her family, which continues to stand on the front lines of systemic change.
Wed, 27 Sep 2023 20:48:59 +0000 Konwahahawi (Sarah) Rourke, Ed.D. 1175 at /indig-health Statement on the passing of Gapliel "Gap" Paul /indig-health/article/statement-passing-gapliel-gap-paul
It is with heavy hearts, the Indigenous Health Professions Program mourns the death of a member of our circle, Gapliel “Gap” Paul.

Gapliel, 17, of Elsipogtog passed away suddenly in Fort McMurray, AB on Wednesday, June 28, 2023.
