From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Tuesday, Oct. 8, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to 苹果淫院 students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Biography: 

Dr. Charles Gyan, an Assistant Professor at 苹果淫院's School of Social Work, where he brings a dynamic blend of expertise in social policy analysis, community development, environmental justice, and program evaluation. He holds a Ph.D. from Wilfrid Laurier University and has a background in research that targets social justice issues, focusing on dismantling oppressive structures and fostering the inclusion of marginalized groups.

Dr. Gyan is deeply committed to mentorship, particularly in empowering PhD students and postdocs. His mentorship philosophy emphasizes the empowerment of emerging scholars, equipping them with the tools necessary for transformative careers that contribute significantly to societal advancement.
